Beginning My Capstone (Week 2)

For my capstone project this spring semester, I will focus heavily on digital illustrations using Adobe Photoshop. I aspire to become an illustrator or concept artist emerging out of university and found this project idea suitable to increase my skillset and display such aspirations in a well-grounded manner. The art produced is based on Biblical verses I thought to be quite striking in visual descriptions.

Knowing of my absence in the first week of the semester in advance, I did not account for Week 1 to amount to any heavy, enduring tasks. However, I did not consider myself becoming greatly ill during this current week. That said, I am a little behind in terms of having more fleshed-out outlines for my seven pieces, but I hope to have a mentor soon to get to the next phase rather quickly.

Attached are rough thumbnail concepts for the prints I have planned. Each concept is a representation of the verses as follows: Rev 9:17-19, 1 Kings 10:18-20, 2 Kings 2:11, and Rev 13:1-3 respectively.
