After focusing heavily on my horse series last week, I focused more on the other pieces this week. While I understand the biblical verse describing the horses and riders, I decided to remove the riders altogether as art is open to interpretation.
The Sea Beast has now transitioned to a more mosaic-like style, and I am buffing out the new outlines and color blocks.
The cow dream of Pharoah has redefined outlines and more color-blocking. After speaking with my mentor, I will revise the black cows to me more of a warm grey tone and the seven skinny cows to have a more cool, eerie gray tone. The background sky will also be revised further on the far left.
My last piece of Joseph's dream hasn't been revisited in a long while, but I understood rescaling the angel was very much suggested to fit the perspective better. In addition, while the landscape is dreamy and of Egypt, I will add more dunes to make it appear less "flat."
This is the bare bones of what the redefined angel will look like.
Next week is our 80% Milestone, but I aim to be finished by then.
