Progress - Week 8

This week was rather unfortunate for my capstone development. On Monday, my laptop decided to die, and when I stopped at BestBuy for a resolution, I was informed it was best to send it to the manufacturer. It would take 2 to 4 weeks before it returned to my possession again. I was also informed that it may have to undergo a factory reset, causing me to lose all progress on work and assignments since May 2023.
Fortunately, I saved my capstone compositions on the Adobe Cloud, but when I received a loaner laptop from the school, I could not utilize Photoshop. The reason is that I use my personal Gmail account, and only TAMU is permissible. At this point, I waited until the following day, today, to use a PC back in my hometown for spring break.
However, I encountered problems again, which resulted in a two-hour remote session with an Adobe agent to help fix my error with Photoshop and my cloud files.
Due to the limited time remaining in the semester and the many issues encountered this week, I am considering reevaluating my scope and approaching my capstone with a different lens. Illustrator runs smoothly, so I am considering approaching these biblical descriptions in a style that is more angelic and yet punk-like. I would aim to have these illustrations like those of church stained glass windows, with pronounced strokes and shapes, simplifying the realistic approach I aimed for.
This idea only came to mind because of this technical shortcoming I was not expecting, but I think it may have a more unique depiction and something more my style. My spring break will consist of my rebound in progress under rapid time, working on it heavily to reach further than the point I had left last week.
This is to say that no progress was made this week, but everything happens for a reason. Perhaps this is a way of having a fresh look and starting my project with a new lens.
